Convenient Care - Available 7 Days a Week

What is Convenient Care? Answers to Commonly Asked Questions

FirstHealth Convenient Care provides patients with a one-stop option for unscheduled medical care. From strep to sprains, flu to fractures and everything in between, Convenient Care can help you get in, get out and get better.

Are Convenient Care and urgent care the same thing?

Put simply, yes. Providers at our clinics deliver treatment for all your urgent but non-life-threatening illnesses and family medical care needs. We can fill the void between a true emergency and your regular visits with a primary care or family medicine provider. You never need an appointment at Convenient Care, and our clinics are open seven days a week.

What is the difference between Convenient Care and the emergency room?

While it may seem complicated, deciding whether to visit a Convenient Care or an emergency room is usually fairly obvious. Stung by a bee? Go to Convenient Care. Attacked by an entire beehive? Head to the ER. Cut your finger prepping dinner? Convenient Care can help. If you cut a finger off, go to the ER.

If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden weakness or changes in your speech, severe abdominal pain or severe bone fracture, our emergency departments are ready to care for you. When in doubt, call 911.

Need Care?

Our clinics are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. No appointment required.
