Medication Assistance

Skipping doses? Choosing between meals and meds? Worried about how to pay for your prescriptions? The FirstHealth Medication Assistance Program helps patients obtain medications from pharmaceutical companies for chronic diseases including asthma, chronic bronchitis, congestive heart failure, COPD, diabetes, emphysema, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Any patient who is uninsured and doesn't have prescription drug coverage or a Medicare Prescription drug plan but meets financial qualifications established by the individual pharmaceutical companies is eligible for FirstHealth's Medication Assistance Program.

A member of the program staff will schedule your first appointment to see if you qualify and complete the necessary paperwork. All services are free of charge.
