Treatment

Many sports injuries can be treated without surgery or with arthroscopic surgery, a minimally invasive surgical method that uses a camera to look inside a joint along with specialized instruments to carry out any necessary surgery in that joint. Other injuries may respond to physical therapy or perhaps require more advanced surgery to promote optimum healing.

Your orthopaedic surgeon may also refer you to a physical therapist for rehabilitation to help get you back in the game.
