Select Hospice & Palliative Care
FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care has always been committed to providing high-quality care – with dignity and compassion – for those with a chronic or life-limiting illness.
When more acute care is needed, admission to the Hospice House may be coordinated. The patient and family are cared for by an interdisciplinary team whose goal is to improve overall quality of life through effective symptom management.
Funded in part through the FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, the Hospice House provides the community with the resources needed to take care of patients and their families in a home-like setting. The house features private rooms, a family kitchen and dining area, chapel and solace room and a children’s play area.
Located on a serene, thirty-acre plot, just minutes from Moore Regional Hospital, the Hospice campus is also home to the FirstHealth Grief Resource & Counseling Center and Hospice administration buildings so that all the needs of the patient and family can be met from one location.
