CARE-Net
Select Cancer Program or Service
CARE-Net is a buddy system, which pairs specially trained volunteers with patients who need a sympathetic ear, a caring heart or a helping hand as they navigate the health care system. CARE-Net volunteers, who are often cancer survivors themselves, frequently recognize needs of patients and families, and can help connect them with available resources. They can also provide support to the patients and families through calls , letters and visits.
For more information on the CARE-Net program, contact Laura Kuzma at (910)715-2298.
We provide cancer care, treatment, therapy and support for patients in the Pinehurst, Sanford, Raeford, Laurinburg, Lumberton, Troy and Rockingham regions of North Carolina and beyond.
