FirstHealth’s core purpose is “To Care For People.” The organization’s mission is “Working Together, First-In-Quality, First-In-Health.”
As such, FirstHealth is committed to not only treating patients in the hospital setting, but reaching beyond the hospital walls to influence population health and provide health prevention focused interventions.
As part of the First-In-Health portion of the mission, FirstHealth has conducted Community Health Needs Assessment surveys in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015.
