Our Current Residents

Margaret Brown, PharmD

Margaret Brown, PharmD, attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy studies and then her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2025. Prior to pursuing a PGY1 at FirstHealth, Margaret worked as a pharmacy intern at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT for three years. During pharmacy school, Margaret was involved in Reformed University Fellowship, Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Phi Delta Chi.

Dr. Brown's areas of interest include emergency medicine and critical care, in which she hopes to pursue a PGY2 and acquire board certification. Outside of pharmacy, Margaret enjoys running, reading, spending time with friends and family, and eating ice cream.

Natalie Ly, PharmD

Natalie Ly, PharmD, attended UNC-Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and then her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2025. During pharmacy school, Natalie was involved in the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists, American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacy-Student Society of Health System Pharmacists, Global Engagement Organization, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Prior to pursuing a PGY1 at FirstHealth, Natalie worked as a pharmacy intern at Harris Teeter Pharmacy for four years.

Upon completing a PGY-1 residency, Natalie hopes to continue her educational learning through a PGY-2 program in an area of interest. Her current interests include cardiology, critical care, and infectious disease.

Outside of pharmacy, Natalie enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, building Legos, and spending time with her cats, Percy and Tyson.

Michael Wallace, PharmD

Michael Wallace, PharmD, is originally from Aiken, South Carolina and attended Anderson University for undergraduate majoring in Biochemistry. For pharmacy school, Michael attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Charleston, South Carolina. While attending school, he worked as a pharmacy intern at Walgreen’s Pharmacy and at Roper Hospital in downtown Charleston. Michael was involved in the American Pharmacist Association, Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Phi Delta Chi, and Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International during pharmacy school. 

Michael’s interests include internal medicine, infectious diseases, and critical care. One of Michael’s goals is to become a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Outside of the pharmacy, Michael enjoys going to the gym, gardening, hiking, traveling to new countries, and listening to music.

Cassey Zendarski, PharmD

Cassey Zendarski, PharmD, is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. She attended Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. She then attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2025. Cassey was involved in the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, Student College of Clinical Pharmacy, Phi Lambda Sigma, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Student National Pharmaceutical Association, Pharmacy Alumni Student Association, Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International and American Pharmacists Association.

Cassey's areas of interest include ambulatory care, cardiology, and internal medicine.  Upon completing her PGY1 residency,  Cassey hopes to have the necessary skills to become an excellent clinical pharmacist that truly cares about her patients.

Outside of pharmacy, Cassey's hobbies include going to concerts, trying new coffee shops, painting, exploring new areas and spending time with her family and friends.
