Staff Well-Being
The FirstHealth Reid Center for Well-Being is designed to offer FirstHealth employees and families a valuable workplace program to help with personal and professional problems that may be too much to handle alone.

Services include:
- Confidential Counseling – counseling services are open to all employees and family members (18+) who live in the home. There is no out-of-pocket charge for initial six sessions. Employees can be referred to community resources if solutions aren’t met in the first sessions. Referrals available for children under 18.
- Deployable well-being: On-site support tailored to the needs of the team.
- Team building: Activities and exercises to strengthen workplace connections.
- Special events: Focused on stress relief, resilience and overall wellness.
- Ongoing pet adoption visits and therapy dog visits: Bringing comfort and joy to staff.
- Lunch and Learns: Covering a variety of well-being topics to foster growth and self-care.
Provider Well-Being
The health care landscape is constantly changing, thanks in part to a complex and demanding work environment. Burnout rates are higher than ever before, but FirstHealth is committed to providing resources to those who care for our community. Services are confidential and occur outside of any documentation of FirstHealth of the Carolinas and include:

Community Well-Being
The Reid Center for Well-Being contracts with external employers to provide valuable benefits to employees and close family members. Personal problems affect productivity and success at work. The use of a Well-Being Program benefits employers in the following ways.

Contact your human resources department to determine if your employer contracts with FirstHealth. Appointments are usually scheduled within three business days (or sooner if urgent) at our office in Pinehurst or Rockingham, N.C. You may also ask your supervisor or human resources department to assist you with scheduling an appointment
