Time for Baby, Where to go?

  • Patients must enter through the Emergency Department, take the purple elevators up to the second floor and follow the signs to Labor and Delivery Registration. If you are in any distress, stop at the Emergency Department front desk for assistance, and they will provide you an escort to Labor and Delivery.
  • You may park your car in the Emergency Department visitor’s lot. If you are admitted to the hospital, your car will need to be moved to the main visitor’s parking lot.

What to take to the hospital?

The following is a list of suggested items to bring with you to the hospital when you deliver.

For Mom...

  • Personal toiletries (brush, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, makeup, hair dryer, hairspray, etc.)
  • Underpants (maternity)
  • Nursing/support bra
  • Robe and slippers
  • Going-home clothes (these should be maternity clothes)

For Baby...

  • Pacifier, if desired
  • Going home outfit (including socks/booties)
  • Car seat

Optional items:

  • Hat
  • Nail Clippers
  • Mittens for hands
