Infectious Disease

FirstHealth of the Carolinas Infectious Disease provides a variety of services related to prevention and treatment of diseases caused by infectious agents including infections caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. Physicians in this specialty are trained and board certified in internal medicine and have an additional two years of training and board certification in the specialty of infectious diseases.
