The FirstHealth Hospice House campus includes an inter-faith chapel that offers serenity and comfort to those dealing with a serious illness, or the impending loss of a loved one. Designed to accomodate all spiritual experiences, the glass-windowed chapel overlooks a lake and provides a peaceful atmosphere for quiet reflection.
Spiritual Care
Spiritual care is an aspect of health care that supports the inner person and addresses spiritual or religious needs as the individual copes with illness, grief or pain. Our spiritual care chaplains are clinically trained and work to ensure spiritual and religious concerns are addressed in a thoughtful, supportive manner.
Spiritual care chaplains do not impose their own beliefs or religious practices. They are caring and attentive listeners who respect your privacy and dignity. Chaplains can also provide assistance with memorial and funeral planning.
