The theme of the 2019 Cancer Survivors Day event at FirstHealth was, “Alone we are just a square, but together we are a quilt.” Each Survivors Day attendee created their own quilt square to represent their triumph over cancer, and Stern assembled them all to form a 100-square Cancer Survivors Day quilt. The quilt will be on display in the FirstHealth Outpatient Cancer Center for all to enjoy.
