PINEHURST– The Wound Care & Hyperbarics program at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital has received the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of Excellence award by Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

The award recognizes outstanding clinical outcomes for at least two consecutive years, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, and a wound healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 median days.

“We are very proud to receive national recognition for high quality patient outcomes and exemplary patient satisfaction,” says David Strom, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon and medical director of FirstHealth Wound Care & Hyperbarics. “This award is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our entire team to delivering outstanding results.”

“The extraordinary care provided to patients in our Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center is life-changing and, at times, even lifesaving,” adds Dr. Strom. “Our wound care team’s specialized training and dedication helps patients restore their health and achieve faster healing rates.  I am exceptionally proud to work with this team.”
