Amy Fox, M.D.
Dr. Fox completed her medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She completed her internship and residency at The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. Dr. Fox is board certified in dermatology, and is professionally associated with the UNC School of Medicine as an associate professor. She is also the medical director of the UNC Dermatology Alopecia and Hair Disorders Clinics.
Learning Objectives:
• Differentiate the major types of alopecia.
• Discuss the diagnosis, treatments and prognosis
for the major types of alopecia.
• Identify when a patient can benefit from a
referral to a specialist for treatment of alopecia.
