Newborn Amelia Kay Ball is already stealing hearts as one of FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital's Valentine's Day babies of 2019. Little Amelia is shown sporting a red hat that was donated by the American Heart Association in connection with The Children's Heart Foundation. Hospitals nationwide are participating in the “Little Hats, Big Hearts” program, an American Heart Month program designed to empower moms to live heart-healthy lives while helping their children to do the same. Little Amelia is the daughter of Casey and Kim Ball of Aberdeen, and was delivered by John Byron, M.D., with Southern Pines Women's Health Center, a FirstHealth Clinic.
