Speaker:
Kristalyn K. Gallagher, D.O., FACOS, FACS
Dr. Gallagher completed her medical training at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, and her residency in General Surgery at the Oklahoma State University, OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She also completed a fellowship in Breast Surgery/Oncoplastics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Dr. Gallagher is the Section Chief of Breast Surgery; Director of the UNC Surgical Breast Care Program; and Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.

Learning Objectives:
• Discuss risk of lymphedema following breast cancer treatment
• Describe techniques utilized by surgeons to minimize lymphedema

Target Audience:
All physicians and interested health care professionals who provide care for and/or refer patients with breast cancer.
Gap to be Filled:
Most current information on the prevention of lymphedema.
Goals of this Live Activity:
Prevention of lymphedema in breast cancer patients.
