PINEHURST – FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital will host a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Event on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
The event will take place in Monroe Auditorium located in the FirstHealth Conference Center on the corner of Yadkin Road (HWY 211) and Page Road in Pinehurst.
The special tribute event will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy. The event will begin with an invocation from Rev. Dr. Beverly Jessup, DMin, FAPC, clinical director of pastoral care at FirstHealth.
Original music will be provided by local musicians Sharon Murphy and her husband Dr. Paul Murphy Sr., pastor of Trinity AME Zion Church in Southern Pines.
Tony Price, chief executive officer of Moore Free and Charitable Clinic, is this year’s Keynote Speaker.
