Speakers
Daniel A. Roque, M.D.
Dr. Roque completed his medical degree at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. He completed his residency in Neurology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Roque completed his fellowship in movement disorders at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Neurology, and he is professionally associated with the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.
Randy Ballard, B.S.
Mr. Ballard completed his bachelor of science in Exercise and Sport Science at East Carolina University. His certifications include Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM; NSCA Certified Personal Trainer; and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. He is a former North Carolina Kickboxing Champion, and is CrossFit Level 1 Certified. Mr. Ballard is professionally associated with FirstHealth of the Carolinas.

• Discuss the most recent information on the signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for Parkinson’s disease
• Make referrals to specialists as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Use the resources available to Parkinson’s patients and their families – Examine the Rock Steady Boxing Program to determine if it would benefit specific patients
