FirstHealth Fitness – Sanford to Begin Pre-sale of Memberships on Location

SANFORD – FirstHealth Fitness is opening its newest facility in Sanford on October 1. Join us for an open house event on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet our staff, tour our facility, participate in a group exercise class and more.
FirstHealth Fitness – Sanford will be the sixth fitness facility that is part of the not-for-profit health care system, FirstHealth of the Carolinas.
The 25,000-square-foot fitness center will include a pool, physical therapy area, an indoor walking track, a functional weight area, Les Mills group exercise classes such as Body Pump, Body Step and RPM, and a child care facility. The Sanford center will also house massage therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services, and physical therapy programs.
“It is truly exciting to see how far construction has come along and that we are one step closer to our opening date,” says Phillip Williams, facility director of FirstHealth Fitness – Sanford. “We are even more excited to announce that we are beginning pre-sales of our memberships at the new facility, allowing residents of Lee County to become founding members of our newest FirstHealth Fitness location.”
“We are looking forward to providing our services to the residents of Sanford and Lee County, and especially looking forward to introducing residents to our fitness model,” says Williams. “We believe that exercise is medicine, that appropriate exercise is appropriate for everyone and that if anyone comes to us, regardless of ability, current health status or past fitness experience, we can help them take personal responsibility for their health through regular physical activity.”
