Matthew Coffin, PA-C |
PINEHURST – Matthew Coffin, PA-C, has joined FirstHealth Neurosurgery in Pinehurst as a certified physician assistant.
Other members of the FirstHealth neurosurgical team include Cynthia Z. Africk, M.D., and James Walker, M.D.
Coffin received a B.S. degree in psychology from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Coffin found his way down south to North Carolina while doing clinical rotations in school.
“I fell in love with North Carolina when I came here and decided this would be the place I would make my new home and start my career,” says Coffin. “I am looking forward to joining this exceptional team and providing quality care in this community.”
