Nurse Practitioner Joins FirstHealth Pain –Management Team

PINEHURST – Tracy Overton Pritchard, N.P., has joined the FirstHealth Back & Neck Pain team as the newest provider.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her masters in nursing and health care leadership degrees at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and her nurse practitioner degree from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
Pritchard has been a FirstHealth employee for more than 20 years, having started as a nursing assistant in the PACU and later transitioning to floor registered nurse on several units. Her most recent role was as Clinical Nurse Leader for the FirstHealth Back & Neck Pain clinic.
Pritchard is looking forward to transitioning from her leadership role to provider role, saying “I am blessed to work with such awesome providers and looking forward to working on the patient care side of health care.”
Pritchard will practice at FirstHealth Back & Neck Pain clinics in Moore, Hoke and Lee counties.
