Target Audience: All external and referring physicians, mid-levels and healthcare providers who will be using CareLink, FirstHealth’s new physician portal.
Speaker: Sandra Follett, R.N., BSN, R.T. Ms. Follett received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiography from Fayetteville Technical Community College in Fayetteville, NC. She received her BSN from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC. Ms. Follett is EpicCare Ambulatory certified and Epic Care Link certified and is currently an EpicCare Applications Analyst and registered nurse at FirstHealth of the Carolinas.
Objectives: At the completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: • Use the CareLink application to place orders • Access and use the manual • Apply rules for the application, to include, but not limited to adding/deactivating users, violations and using templates
Professional Practice Gap to be filled: Lack of knowledge and competency to use new physician portal application.
