RAEFORD – A fellowship-trained specialist in colorectal surgery is now seeing patients at FirstHealth General & Colorectal Surgery in the Physician Offices and Specialty Center adjacent FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Campus in Raeford.
Reid C. Vegeler, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his internship and residency at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando, Florida.
At MRH-Hoke Campus, Dr. Vegeler performs outpatient general and colorectal surgeries, colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies.
