This year, for the fourth consecutive year, MRH employees and volunteers partnered with BackPack Pals of Moore County to provide food items for children in Moore County Schools as part of a holiday giving opportunity that resulted in the contribution of 3,846 pounds of individually packaged food items and more than $3,300 in money or gift cards for a total equivalent of 19,784 meals. The BackPack Pals program provides food items to children who do not have enough to eat over weekends and other extended periods when school is not in session. Throughout the school year, FirstHealth employees make weekly deliveries of between 90 and 100 backpacks to the Robbins area.  Shown are the FirstHealth employees who helped deliver the donations to the Moore County Food Bank location: (from left to right) Dan Oates, Health Sciences Library; Melinda Smith, Human Resources; Samuel Levinson, Food Bank Employee; Eric Baker, Brittany Wallace and Emily Sloan, all of Corporate Communications; Kim Faulkner and Lori Maness, Human Resources; Lisa Smith, Corporate Communications; and Michael Cotton, Food Bank.
