Professionals Speaker: Sascha A. Tuchman, M.D.
Dr. Tuchman completed his medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Dr. Tuchman completed his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, NC. He is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Objectives: At the completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Examine new treatments for multiple myeloma, both commercially available and experimental
• Inspect the management of multiple myeloma in individual patients Professional Practice Gap to be filled: Knowledge gap for the most recent evidence-based care for multiple myeloma patients
