SAFE SITTING – Quality coordinator Michelle Yarboro, R.N., assists Safe Sitter program participant McKinley Baker as she uses a mannequin to practice the proper way to perform infant CPR techniques. Baker was one of the young people, ages 11 to 14, who took part in the Safer Sitter Babysitter Program on July 15 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital. A medically accurate, hands-on class, Safe Sitter teaches boys and girls how to handle emergencies when caring for children as well as basic babysitting skills. The recent class was offered through FirstHealth Corporate Education.
