Diabetic Eye Disease: A Primer for the Primary Care Physician

Arghavan Almony, M.D. will present this CME program for all physicians and health care professionals who care for patients with diabetes.

 Dinner begins at 5:45 p.m. with the program to follow at 6:15 p.m.

At the completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

Identify patients that are at risk for developing diabetic retinopathy based on systemic risk factors

  • Identify visual symptoms that are warning signs for diabetic retinopathy
  • Describe treatment strategies for diabetic retinopathy
