Christine Cowell, PA-C, to join FirstHealth Family Medicine in Troy

TROY – Christine Cowell, PA-C, started her medical career as a physician assistant with Robeson Health Care Clinic in Biscoe and remained there after the practice became FirstHealth Family Medicine-Biscoe.
More recently, Cowell has been the health care provider at FirstHealth Family Medicine-Vass, but that will change this month when she returns to Montgomery County and “home” as a certified physician assistant with FirstHealth Family Medicine-Troy.
In the Troy office, Cowell will work alongside Chrystal Eller, M.D., providing health care for adults and children in Montgomery County and surrounding communities.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Christine Cowell to the Troy office, and back home to Montgomery County,” Dr. Eller says. “We know she will be a great addition to our team. She is dedicated to providing excellent quality service to patients. I have supervised Christine at both Biscoe and Vass, and welcome the opportunity to have her working by my side here in Troy.”
Cowell earned her B.S. in medical studies and her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She enjoys family practice with a special emphasis on women’s health care.
