ROCKINGHAM – FirstHealth Convenient Care-Richmond County will soon be offering new extended hours.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, the clinic will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Current hours are noon to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

“Our new hours are a response to what we have observed as a community need,” says the clinic’s medical director, Lisa Cowan, M.D. “Since our patients have been seeking our services more frequently during morning hours, we hope the addition of two hours each morning will help accommodate that need.”

Convenient Care provides treatment for all urgent but non-life-threatening illnesses and family medical care needs such as flu, bronchitis and sinus infections as well as injuries including sprains, strains, lacerations and mild-to-moderate burns.

FirstHealth Convenient Care-Richmond County is located at 921 S. Long Drive, Suite 104 (next to FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital). Walk-ins are welcome.
