Seibles Joins RMH Wound Center as Program Director

ROCKINGHAM – Hazel Seibles has been named program director of the FirstHealth Wound Care & Hyperbarics Center at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. The program provides diagnosis and treatment for a variety of chronic or non-healing wound conditions.

FirstHealth offers its wound care program in partnership with Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of wound care services. Before joining the FirstHealth program, Seibles was program director of the wound care program at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet, another Healogics program.

Seibles received a bachelor of fine arts degree in Community Health Education from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 1982. Early in her career, she spent four years as a ward secretary and administrative secretary and then another five years as a health educator with Richmond Memorial Hospital.

She joined Sandhills Regional in 1999 as director of marketing, public relations and volunteer services and became program director of the hospital’s wound care program in 2006.

As program director of the Richmond Memorial service, she will be in charge of day-to-day operations, including staff management, budgeting and data analysis. She will also work with the community and hospital and with physician practices to generate patient referrals.
