Susan Davey, R.N., chief nursing officer/director of Patient Care Services at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, was the tree-lighter for the hospital’s 26th Annual Love Light Ceremony on Dec. 3. Each year, the name of the tree-lighter is kept secret until the time to light the tree during the Love Light ceremony. This event is one of the many ways that the FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital Auxiliary raises funds to support the community through such projects as the Teddy Bear Affair for first-graders and a scholarship fund for eligible high school seniors. The Montgomery Memorial Hospital Choir performs for the event each year.
