Warm up with a Cup of Yogi Tea - it's good for you!

Homemade Yogi Tea

Yogi or non-yogi, whichever you may be, enjoying a steaming cup of tea can nourish the body and soul. Whether you sip a cup of tea to end your yoga practice or just to warm up on a chilly day, yogi tea offers a host of healthy benefits for your body.

Yogi tea started as the practice of Ayurveda, or traditional Indian medicine. The select spices in the brew are intended to be healing. Prepared as a mixture of cardamom, ginger, black pepper and cinnamon this invigorating tonic aids digestion, helps bone strength, soothes tired muscles and purifies the blood.

This nourishing beverage will cleanse your body, mind and spirit.

  • 8 Black peppercorns
  • 8 Whole green Cardamom pods
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger root, sliced
  • 1 Whole cinnamon stick
  • 6 Whole cloves
