Meet the Staff - Moore Regional Hospital (MRH), SG1 Staff Nurse

Junghyang “June” Yun, BSN, CBN, CMSRN is currently a staff nurse in the medical-surgical unit at Moore Regional Hospital. She has been employed at Moore Regional since May 2010.
June has 12+ years of professional experience that includes emergency room, pediatric ICU, medical-surgical in one of South Korea's flagship university hospitals serving over 2.5 million residents prior to moving to the United States. As a MRH staff/education nurse, June is constantly seeking creative ways to foster an active learning environment in SG1 to promote high quality patient care and continuous improvement. She feels very fortunate to have begun her American nursing career at a “Magnet” recognized hospital working with an outstanding team of health care professionals.
She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 2001 at Taegu Science College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2006 at Korea National University, South Korea. She also holds a teaching certificate in education. In Nov 2009, June immigrated to the United States where she earned two national certifications; Certified Bariatric Nurse and Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse. She became a U.S. citizen in March 2013.
June applied for associate membership with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She is also a member of the MRH Education and Nurse Practice Councils.
