ROCKINGHAM – Jennifer Wilson, R.N., has been named case manager/clinical coordinator for the FirstHealth Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
The Wound Care Center offers specialized treatment that is designed to monitor, manage and treat chronic non-healing wounds. In her role, Wilson supervises the center’s clinical staff in addition to providing case management for the facility’s patients.
Wilson received her associate degree in nursing from Richmond Community College in 2008 and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Adventist University of Health Sciences in Orlando, Fla. While a student at Richmond Community College, she was recognized as the graduating student with the highest overall grade point average in her associate degree nursing class.
Before joining the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at Richmond Memorial, Wilson was a registered nurse on the Fourth Floor Medical nursing unit at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
