FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital’s Bariatric Program is one of the top programs in the state. With the latest surgical technology and an outstanding staff their capabilities to help people are abundant. Though weight-loss surgery is growing in popularity and accessibility, there are still many people who are unaware or uneasy about the procedures.
FirstHealth’s Bariatric Program, in partnership with Pinehurst Surgical, offer bi-monthly 
information sessions to spread the knowledge. Twice a month, these seminars are held in the Renaissance Room at Pinehurst Surgical in Pinehurst, NC. But what do they talk about? At the seminar you will:
- Learn about the benefits of having bariatric surgery
- Meet the physician and patient navigator
- Learn more about the different surgery options and which would be the best for you
- Have an opportunity to ask questions
- Hear success stories from bariatric surgery patients
- Receive an application packet for weight-loss surgery
These information sessions are completely free and take place on the first Thursday and the third Monday of every month. You can register a head of time by visiting our website ncweightlosssurgery.org but registration is not mandatory.
