Members of the Cath Lab staff at Reid Heart Center at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital don “Live HEART Strong” T-shirts in recognition of World Heart Day, which will be observed this year on Saturday, Sept. 29. World Heart Day was created in 2000 to inform people around the globe that heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading cause of death, currently claiming 17.3 million lives each year as the numbers continue to rise. The Cath Lab professionals will wear the T-shirts every Friday in September.
