| Date Posted: 4/2/2012
PINEHURST – Expectant parents always have lots of questions about prenatal care and childbirth. New parents probably have even more questions about the care of their newborn.
Area residents can attend the annual FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Pregnancy Fair to get those questions answered.
“We feel it’s important for mothers and the entire family to get a good head start on life with a newborn,” says Maggie Maness-Craft, director of Women & Children’s Services at Moore Regional. “The Pregnancy Fair is a great way for people to learn the basics about childbirth and parenting. They will also have the opportunity to ask experts more detailed questions about concerns that they may have.”
The Thursday, April 19, program will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fair Barn at the Harness Track off Highway 5 in Pinehurst. Information will be available on pregnancy, childbirth, baby care and related community services among other topics. More than 30 vendors will be present with a variety of giveaways to share.
New and expectant parents are invited to participate, and there is no cost to attend. Registration is not necessary.
