PINEHURST – Sandhills Emergency Physicians is now an in-network provider for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s (BCBSNC) 20,000-plus customers in Moore County.
Sandhills Emergency Physicians has served the health care needs of 15 surrounding counties since 1991. Composed of 22 board certified emergency physicians and five physician assistants, the group provides 24/7 emergency department care at all three of the FirstHealth of the Carolinas hospitals: Moore Regional in Pinehurst, Richmond Memorial in Rockingham and Montgomery Memorial in Troy.
“Our patients have been asking us to join the BCBSNC network, and we are excited to honor their request by partnering with BCBSNC,” says Ronald J. Milewski, M.D., president of Sandhills Emergency Physicians. “We want to continue to provide quality, convenient emergency care to meet the health care needs of our community.”
