| Date Posted: 5/18/2011

PINEHURST – Weather was not a factor for the kids who turned out to participate in the Fourth Annual FirstHealth of the Carolinas Youth Triathlon. A total of 214 children competed in four races in distances based upon their ages.

Competing on a closed course that included a pool swim, closed-course bike race and a trail run surrounding the campus of FirstHealth Center for Health & Fitness-Pinehurst, the children – and their parents – had a great time enjoying the outdoors and cheering each other on.
