FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships

The 2010 recipients of the FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships are Melissa Swan (pictured left) from West Montgomery High School and Lisa Abril Simmons (pictured right) from East Montgomery High School. Each student received a $500 scholarship based on the following scholarship requirements: plan to pursue a career in a health care profession; have a 3.0 or greater grade point average; handwritten essay and two letters of recommendation. Swan received her scholarship at the May 20 Awards Ceremony held at the WMHS Auditorium. Simmons received her scholarship at the June 3 Awards Ceremony for EMHS that was held at the James Garner Center in Troy.
