VASS, N.C. – Patients in Moore County have a new option for primary care as family nurse practitioner Jennifer Moore has joined the FirstHealth Family Medicine clinic in Vass, working alongside Angela Walling, FNP-C, and Janine Hepler, FNP-C.
Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Moore worked as a preceptor and charge nurse at FirstHealth and has worked for the system since 2007. She recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Western Governor’s University.
“I am excited to join the team in Vass because I did my last family nurse practitioner clinical internship there and I realized what an amazing team it is,” she said. “I’ve also lived in this community my entire life, so I’m looking forward to working with patients to help them achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.”
Moore said she always dreamed of working in health care. “Even as a child, my dream was to be able to help others and make a difference,” she said. “I have been a nurse for almost 16 years and am thrilled to become a family nurse practitioner in the Vass clinic.”
Outside of work, Moore said she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach and lifting weights. To schedule an appointment with Moore at the Vass clinic, call 910-245-7678. The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
