FirstHealth to Transition Horner Boulevard Convenient Care Clinic to Primary Care

SANFORD—FirstHealth of the Carolinas has announced that the Convenient Care Clinic located at 3110 S. Horner Blvd. in Sanford will transition to a family medicine clinic effective November 14, 2022. To prepare for this transition, the last day of service at the Horner Blvd. Convenient Care clinic will be on October 2.
“The demand and need for additional primary care options in the area is prompting this change,” said Dan Barnes, D.O., president of FirstHealth Physician Group. “Continuing to provide convenient care services to the Lee County community is a top priority and we will continue to offer those services for the community.”
FirstHealth’s walk-in care clinics are located at 1602 Westover Drive in the Tramway community of Sanford and at FirstHealth Lee Campus at 2919 Beechtree Drive. Both clinics are open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., seven days a week.
