Weather, Shipping Delays Impact Moore County COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

| Date Posted: 2/17/2021

PINEHURST, N.C. - FirstHealth of the Carolinas will reschedule some COVID-19 vaccine appointments planned for February 18, 2021 in Moore County.

The change in schedule is the result of vaccine shipping delays related to wintry weather in many parts of the country.
Patients scheduled to receive a vaccine at the Fair Barn before 11:30 a.m. on February 18, 2021, will be rescheduled to receive shots on February 23 between 1 and 4 p.m.

Appointments scheduled for after 11:30 a.m. on February 18 will not be impacted and those patients should come to the Fair Barn at their appointment time.

Impacted patients will receive phone calls from FirstHealth officials about the change as well as messages through MyChart, FirstHealth’s online patient portal.

FirstHealth apologizes for any inconvenience and encourages the public to find the latest information about COVID-19 vaccines our website, www.firsthealth.org/shot
