SANFORD — FirstHealth OB/GYN has expanded access for patients in Lee County and surrounding communities with the addition of three Pinehurst Surgical OB/GYN physicians at FirstHealth Lee Campus in Sanford.
Lissette Machin, M.D., Ryan Nance, D.O., and William Terry, M.D., will start seeing patients Jan. 1, 2022 and specialize in both routine and specialized OB/GYN care for women of all ages. The three new providers join Shayna Jones, M.D., Taylor McCauley, M.D., and Caroline Mathis, WHNP, who currently care for patients at FirstHealth OB/GYN.
Dr. Machin earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital/Elmhurst Hospital in New York, N.Y. She’s certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Nance earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Va. He went on to complete an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. Dr. Nance is board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Terry earned his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. Dr. Terry is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
