End of October
Current weight = 189 lbs.
71 lbs. lost!
It has been almost 11 months since I had surgery and I am still losing weight, not as mush as the first six to eight months after surgery but I am still encouraged that I can still lose weight. I think my body is getting close to settling my new weight, and now I will be responsible for maintaining my weight. I still get that full feeling and I have to make smart food choices. I can also tell when I am not active (gym, work-out, walking, etc.). I try to do “some” physical activity every day of the week. After a year out life is pretty normal except I still eat small meals throughout the day. I am scheduled to have a sleep study at the beginning of 2017 to see if I still need to use a CPAP machine. Sleeping throughout the night without a mask would be an added bonus to having surgery and going through this journey.
The past year has been a great year and I am certainly able to enjoy life without carrying around an extra 70 lbs. I am looking forward to staying as active as possible in the coming months especially with the arrival of cooler weather.
