Make your kitchen a Healthy Kitchen.
Have you ever felt overwhelmed with making decisions on healthy food choices? If so, join us and let’s work together to make your kitchen a healthy kitchen. This fun and low-cost program is offered by FirstHealth Community Health Services.
Each participant will:
- Explore different food groups and learn the basics on nutrition.
- Prepare and taste simple, healthy recipes.
- Learn what to look for when reading food labels.
- Discover how to plan, purchase, prepare and enjoy healthy foods.
Tuesdays, April 28 - June 2, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Classes meet one hour per week for six weeks. Fees run from $5 to $25, based on household income, for each class.
