As flu activity continues to rise across the region, FirstHealth of the Carolinas is reinforcing visitor guidelines and encouraging preventive measures to protect patients, visitors and health care teams. Effective immediately, visitor restrictions are in place at all FirstHealth facilities.

A 99-bed community hospital, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Richmond (MRH-Richmond), serves the emergency, inpatient, outpatient and acute-care needs of the people of Richmond County and the surrounding area. The hospital first opened in 1952 and was originally certified for 50 beds. MRH-Richmond offers medical and surgical hospital services as well as unique specialized services.
