By definition, an annual giving program is the principal source of “current use” gifts from patients, friends and others in contrast with a planned giving program that is designed to seek support for “endowment” and other purposes essential to the hospital’s long-range strength.

The Scroll Society
The Scroll Society represents the most successful annual giving program of the Foundation and is often referred to as the cornerstone of the Foundation’s continued growth.
Membership in the Scroll Society is open to friends of the Hospital who give, bequeath or otherwise make available to the Society the sum of $10,000 or more. This gift is payable over a period of 10 years and may be named and directed to a specific department, to a program for capital equipment, scholarship use or a CARE Fund. It may also be designated for where the need is the greates
