I'll See You in September
Join us for an evening with Hal, Julie and Jeffrey Hanson on Friday, September 30 at the Grand Ballroom, Carolina Hotel.
Benefiting the Foundation's Cancer CARE Fund and Clara's House.
"Every act of kindness helps create kinder communities. One visit with the caring, generous hearts of the Sandhills was not enough....I'll See You in September."
Jeff Hanson is a philanthropic artist from Overland Park, Kansas. Jeff is visually impaired from an optic nerve tumor (he nick-named CLOD) associated with a genetic condition called neurofibromatosis. The tumor cased severe vision loss in 2015, requiring chemotherapy and radiation. Despite his low vision, Jeff sees well enough to create brilliant artwork - a "sight for sore eyes," he calls it.
Life according to Jeffrey Hanson is about “lessons learned.” Live life with a purpose. Don’t let your CLOD define you. Generosity begets generosity. Be passionate in everything you do.
In 2015 Jeffrey was featured on the CBS Morning Show for his work and his spirit of generosity.
