Lorraine & Bob Tweed

Whether it’s waltzing to “her song” at a commemorative concert or taking the lead on several Foundation of FirstHealth boards, Lorraine and Bob Tweed have demonstrated that they don’t dance around difficult challenges.

They faced just such a challenge a couple of years ago. Bob had arranged for the Golf Capital Chorus to sing Lorraine’s favorite song at the group’s annual show. But just before their special night, Lorraine had a stroke. In typical fashion, she refused to miss out on the once-in-a-lifetime event and was determined to recover quickly.

The music didn’t stop when Lorraine joined Bob hand in hand on the dance floor for their special evening. Within months, they were serving as chairs for the Moore Regional Hospital Auxiliary’s Holiday Ball.
